Frequently Asked Questions
Hosting, Development and Domains
-
Answer: This is much like asking an architect how much it costs to design a building. The answer depends on many different factors. We will have to discuss details of the site, your needs, the complexities, and functionality you want in the site. These variables determine the time and amount of development your site will require.
-
Answer: A domain name is a unique name that identifies an internet resource such as a website. (Example: google.com) It is an identification string that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority or control on the Internet.
-
Who writes the content for the web site?
Answer: Normally, you will. We will not know your business or your message like you do. This can lead to editing and revision of placed content which will increase overall development time. This shouldn't be a very difficult or time-consuming task. If for some reason you would rather we write the content, we will need to know this in advance as it will be a factor in time and cost.
-
Can I update and maintain my web content myself?
Answer: Technically, the answer to this question is yes. You will have full rights (access) to your site and all of its coded contents. However, your ability to update this depends on several factors. In order to do this you will need to have someone who knows how to develop sites to alter and comprehend the code. Typically this requires knowledge in HTML and sometimes other languages such as: JavaScript, PHP CSS, ColdFusion, SQL or others depending on the complexity of your site.
-
How long will it take to develop my web site?
Answer: Much like the question above relating to cost, this depends on many factors. Again complexity and business needs among other variables will determine how much time will be needed to complete the project. Part of this depends on deliverables by you such as images, content or any other special items that we will receive from you. If there are heavy time constraints, the depth and functionality of your site will be limited initially. Thereafter, we can continue further development to add features or applications to your site.

- Clustered architecture
- Advanced analytics
- Host upto 10 domains
